With No Winning Tickets, Stronach 5 Carries Over $51,331 To Next Friday

There will be a $51,331.91 carryover in the Stronach 5 November 9 after there were no winning tickets Friday afternoon.

The national Pick 5 wager, with an industry-low 12-percent takeout, kicked off Friday with a $108.20 winner in Santa Anita’s fourth race. That was followed by a $16 winner in Gulfstream Park West’s ninth race.

The minimum wager on the Stronach 5 is $1. If there are no tickets with five winners, the entire pool is carried over to the next Friday.

Friday’s Stronach 5 sequence

● Leg One – Santa Anita Fourth Race – Blew By You $108.20

● Leg Two – Gulfstream West Ninth Race – Bodie Tap $16

● Leg Three – Laurel Park 10th Race – Angelinthemorning $4.40

● Leg Four – Santa Anita Fifth Race – Quinnie $7.80

● Leg Five – Golden Gate Fifth Race – Torpedo Away $8

For the Stronach 5, if a change in racing surface is made after the wagering closes, each selection on any ticket will be considered a winning selection. If a betting interest is scratched, that selection will be substituted with the favorite in the win pool when wagering closes.

The Maryland Jockey Club serves as host of the Stronach 5.
