Wednesday’s Rainbow 6 Carryover At Gulfstream Builds To $2.4 Million

Gulfstream Park’s 20-cent Rainbow 6 will have a carryover of $2,483,855 when racing resumes Wednesday with a 12:35 p.m. first race post.

A total of $619,740 was wagered Sunday into the pool for the multi-race wager. Multiple tickets with six winners Sunday returned $15,931.54.

The popular multi-race wager was last hit Jan. 28, when the mandatory payout of a North American record $19.779 million pool produced multiple winning tickets worth $15,566.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

There will also be a Super Hi 5 carryover Wednesday of $5,399.91.
