Current assistant stallion manager at leading stallion farm Spendthrift, Larry Walton, Jr. has been appointed as the new stallion manager at Hill ‘n’ Dale Farms in Lexington.

“Larry ran one on the busiest breeding sheds in Central Kentucky.  He has worked at top class operations and is an experienced horseman,” said John G. Sikura, president of Hill ‘n’ Dale Farms.  “He is highly recommended by all who work with him and we are thrilled he is taking over this important position here at Hill ‘n’ Dale.”

“Becoming a Stallion Manager has been a dream of mine,” Walton said.  “Now I not only get to fulfill that dream, but get to do it with an outstanding stallion roster, at one of Lexington, Kentucky’s most prestigious thoroughbred farms. I could not be more excited and honored with this opportunity to join the team at Hill n Dale.”
