Two Carryovers On Friday Card At Gulfstream

Gulfstream Park’s 20-cent Rainbow 6 survived another day, bringing a carryover into Friday’s program of $827,234.97.

Along with the Rainbow 6, there will be a Late Pick 5 carryover of $31,393.86 and a Super Hi 5 carryover of $3,351.26.

There were three live tickets going into the last race of the Rainbow 6 Thursday, but the 7-1 shot Swiss Alps prevented anyone from bringing down the pot. Multiple tickets with all six winners returned $36,455.34.

The Rainbow 6 will begin with a $50,000 maiden claimer for 2-year-olds while the Late Pick 5 commences on the turf.

First race post Friday is 1:10 p.m. Advance wagering on the Kentucky Derby will be available. Silks Simulcast Center will open at 9:30 a.m.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
