Tuition Assistance Program To Benefit From Sale Of Taylor Made Mare Sunday

Hip 1742 in the Keeneland November sale is the mare Dicey Flats, a daughter of Flatter in foal to Verrazano. Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, proceeds from the mare’s sale will go to the Lexington Catholic high school tuition assistance program, reports bloodhorse.com.

“The money is going for tuition assistance, for families who want their kids to get a good catholic education,” said Taylor Made’s Mark Taylor. “It’s been a nice way to kind of put capitalism and philanthropy together to make a bigger impact for a good cause.”

The school won’t be responsible for any upkeep costs or the stud fee, as a group has already come together to donate the stallion and mare costs while Taylor Made donated the care. Dicey Flats is a half-sister to stakes-placed producer Bluesbdancing.
