Sunday’s Rainbow 6 Jackpot At Gulfstream Has $2.2-Million Guaranteed Pool

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 jackpot pool will be guaranteed at $2.2 million Sunday at Gulfstream Park.

The popular multi-race wager went unsolved for the 17th consecutive racing day Saturday, when multiple tickets with all six winners were each worth $4,043.96.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Sunday’s Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 5-10, including the $60,000 Treasure Coast, a 1 1/8-mile overnight stakes for fillies and mares on turf, in Race 9.

Martin S. Schwartz’s Olympic Games, a 4-year-old French-bred daughter of Olympic Glory, is scheduled to make her U.S. debut for trainer Christophe Clement in the Treasure Coast. Olympic Games won three times in six starts in Europe. Emisael Jaramillo has the mount.

Repole Stable’s Always Shopping, who captured the Gazelle (G2) at Aqueduct last year, is slated to make her turf debut in the Treasure Coast for trainer Todd Pletcher.
