Sunday’s Rainbow 6 Carryover At Gulfstream Grows To $785,266

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved for the 17th racing day in a row Saturday at Gulfstream Park, producing a carryover jackpot of $785,266 for Sunday’s 11-race program.

Tickets with all six winners were each worth $3,639.34 Saturday.

The Rainbow 6 jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Sunday’s Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 6-11, featuring the return of Bourbon War in Race 10, a mile optional claiming allowance. Bourbon War finished second in last season’s Fountain of Youth (G2), beaten three-quarters of a length by Code of Honor.
