Sunday’s Pick Six Pool At Santa Anita Expected To Approach $500,000

There were no winning tickets in Saturday’s Pick Six at Santa Anita, resulting in a carryover into New Year’s Eve on Sunday of $72,970.

With 62 horses entered and eligible to run in Sunday’s Pick Six sequence, average field size for races four through nine is just over 10 runners per race. Accordingly, track officials project Sunday’s total Pick Six pool should approach $500,000.

In addition to the regular Pick Six carryover, Santa Anita’s Single Ticket Pick Six Jackpot has now grown to $78,739 through three days of racing at the current Winter Meet which got underway this past Tuesday.

First post time for a nine race card on New Year’s Eve is at 12:30 p.m. Approximate post time for Sunday’s fourth race is at 2 p.m. PT. Admission gates open Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
