Stronach 5 Pays $1,192.40 To 155 Winning Tickets

There were 155 winning tickets on Friday’s Stronach 5, each worth $1,192.40.

The Stronach 5, highlighted by a $100,000 guaranteed pool and industry-low 12-percent takeout, featured races Friday from Laurel Park, Gulfstream Park, Golden Gate Fields and Santa Anita Park.

Friday’s sequence kicked off with 5-1 shot Storming My Way ($13) winning the eighth race at Laurel. Favorites followed in the second and third legs from Gulfstream and Golden Gate before Odysseus won the third race at Santa Anita and fourth leg of the Stronach 5 and returned $21.20. Yako ($7.60) won the final leg from Gulfstream.

Friday’s races and sequence

  • Leg One – Laurel Park 8th Race: Storming My Way $13
  • Leg Two –Gulfstream Park 8th Race: Chiclet’s Dream $3.20
  • Leg Three – Golden Gate Fields 3rd Race: Paige Anne $3.20
  • Leg Four –Santa Anita Park 3rd Race: Odysseus $21.20
  • Leg Five –Gulfstream Park 10th race: Yako $7.60

The Maryland Jockey Club serves as host of the Stronach 5.
