Santa Anita’s Saturday Card Features Two-Day Pick 6 Carryover Of $103,221

There is a two-day Pick Six carryover of $103,221 into Saturday at Santa Anita and track officials project Saturday’s total Pick Six pool will exceed $500,000.  Additionally, there is a Pick Six Single Ticket Jackpot of $36,920 up for grabs.

With the $16 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational coming in via satellite from Gulfstream Park and a 10-race Cal Cup/Sunshine Millions Day program locally, Santa Anita has set a special early first post time of 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.

With a modest carryover from Thursday of $31,714, $133,849 in “new money” was wagered Friday, creating a total Pick Six pool of $165,563.

Saturday’s Pick Six will be comprised of races five through 10.

Approximate post time for race five is at 1:53 p.m. PT.

A total of 53 horses are eligible to compete in tomorrow’s Pick Six sequence, resulting in average field size of 8.8 runners per race.
