Santa Anita To Play Host To Extra-Small Runners May 26

In addition to a full serving of world class Thoroughbred racing, Santa Anita Park will proudly host the second annual Corgi Nationals competition in its spacious Infield Area this Sunday, May 26.

One of the world’s most beautiful and beloved breeds, the Corgis, will again thrill thousands with their speed agility and downright loveability.

Owners interested in bringing their Corgi on Sunday must enter Santa Anita via Gate 6, off of Colorado Place and owners must check in outside Santa Anita’s Infield entrance.

Please note that the racing fields have already been filled. Only General Admission is available.

SANTA ANITA CORGI NATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

–Owners must bring proof of current vaccination for rabies, distemper & parvo

–No dogs are allowed on the Grandstand side, dogs must enter through Infield, Gate 6

–All dogs must remain on leash at all times and check in by 3 p.m.

–Owner/handlers are responsible for their dog at all times, including clean-up

Walk-up General Admission for the Corgi Nationals is five dollars. Corgi National T-shirts are available for men and women in S, M, L, XL, XXL and 3XL at the event. General Admission is $5. Parking is free through Gate 6 off of Colorado Pl.
