Rainbow 6 Carryover Builds To $321,979 At Gulfstream Park

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved for the 14h straight racing day at Gulfstream Park Saturday, leaving a $321,979.03 carryover jackpot for Sunday’s11-race program (First-race post is set for 1:15 p.m.).

Multiple tickets with six winners were each worth $9,671.34.

The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket sold, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Sunday’s Rainbow 6 will span Races 6-11, including the Coast is Clear Handicap slated for Race 10. Tommy Roberts’ Conquest Big E is slated to concede between one and six pounds to his rivals in an evenly matched field of six over a one-turn mile. The Donna Green-trained gelding, who most recently captured an optional claiming allowance by 8 ½ lengths, has been installed as the 5-2 favorite. Mylute, Savoy Stomp, Piloting, Very Very Stella and Hy Kodiak Warrior are also entered.
