Quality Road Filly Hammers For $800,000 To Lead Day One Of OBS Spring Sale

A daughter of Quality Road from the family of Tiznow sold for $800,000 to lead the way during Tuesday’s first session of the OBS Spring Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training. Consigned by Eddie Woods, the filly (Hip 95) breezed a quarter in :22 flat. She was knocked down to Frank Fletcher Racing LLC.

Hammering for $475,000, a Florida-bred daughter of Arch was the second-highest price of the afternoon. The half-sister to Grade 2-winning millionaire Zivo breezed an eighth in :10 2/5. Consigned by Off the Hook LLC, the filly (Hip 23) was sold to Steve Young as agent.

The OBS Spring sale continues through Friday, Apr. 27, with sessions beginning at 10:30 a.m. each morning.
