Promising Maiden Winner Prevalence Recovering From ‘Fairly Minor’ Setback

After breaking his maiden impressively on the Pegasus World Cup undercard, 3-year-old Godolphin homebred Prevalence was under consideration for the G2 Fountain of Youth Stakes to be held this Saturday at Gulfstream Park. Unfortunately, the son of Medaglia d’Oro spiked a fever last week and missed several days of training, according to Horse Racing Nation.

And really, you know, until you get these little unforeseen hiccups everything was good. This is, in the grand scheme of things, fairly minor.”
