‘Prince Of The Paddock’: Beholder’s Colt Developing His Own Personality

Beholder’s first foal, a colt by Uncle Mo, has been busy growing strong at Spendthrift Farm. According to the blog at championbeholder.com, “Prince B” enjoys spending his days rolling in the mud and playing with his new paddock mates, the mare Coup de Coeur and her Brody’s Cause colt.

“(Prince B is) fearless, brave,” said assistant broodmare manager Paul. “He runs around the field as though he’s asking everyone ‘you’ve heard of me, right?’ He owns the place.”

A naming contest for the colt has officially been closed, but no name has been selected thus far.
