Know What Trees Are Poisonous To Horses With This Guide

Trees are everywhere. On a farm they’re not only useful but provide shade for horses as they graze and shelter from harsh wind. Trees like the Red Maple, Oak, Black Walnut and others can be dangerous if ingested. Symptoms can range from colic-like behavior to laminitis and even sudden death, depending on the tree, the amount of leaves ingested and the time of year.
