Kentucky Woman Jumps In Pool To Save Neighbor’s Horse

Denise Casares, from Hopkins County, Ky., jumped into a pool fully clothed to rescue her neighbor’s horse, CD. CD had escaped his enclosure and stepped onto the pool cover, not realizing it wasn’t solid, falling into the pool.

Denise, a former horse trainer, had been returning from church when she heard about CD; she immediately drove over and jumping in to help. The horse managed to get to the shallow end of the pool and Denise was able to get him out to safety after about 30 minutes.
