Kentucky Downs To Increase Number Of Historical Racing Machines

The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission unanimously granted permission for Kentucky Downs to increase their number of historical horse racing machines, reports drf.com.

Currently operating 775 machines, Kentucky Downs will bump that number to 1,200 machines. The facility has planned an expansion for the new machines, which will also need to be approved by the commission.

Both Ellis Park and Lexington’s Red Mile also operate the historical racing machines. Churchill Downs is preparing to open a facility at Trackside training center in Louisville this fall.
