Kentucky Derby Museum Updated For Justify’s Victory; Free Stick-On Tattoo At Front Desk

Visit the Kentucky Derby Museum and relive the thrill of Justify’ s Kentucky Derby 144 win! The Museum’s signature exhibit, the 360° immersive media experience, The Greatest Race, is now updated with the stretch run of this year’s Kentucky Derby. Watch the mud and rain fly, as jockey Mike Smith guides Justify to his exciting Kentucky Derby win.

The Greatest Race is part of visitors’ general admission experience and is shown in the Museum’s Great Hall every hour at ten minutes after the hour. The 18-minute movie is the next best thing to going to the Kentucky Derby, encapsulating the day from several perspectives including race fans, trainers, jockeys and more!

The Museum’s Winner’s Circle exhibit is now updated with a replica of Justify and Smith, draped in the Garland of Roses, perfect for a photo op with the potential Triple Crown Winner! Guests can also watch the entire Kentucky Derby 144 race on the Warner L. Jones, Jr. Time Machine. There visitors can pull up every Kentucky Derby going as far back as 1918, as well as view interviews and other Derby content.

In the Museum’s lobby, guests can also check out the updated photo mural  and the Capture the Moment wall, with new image highlights from Derby Day 2018. The monitor showcases highlights and interviews from Justify’s winning connections.

Show support for Justify, vying to become only the 13th horse to ever win the Triple Crown, which includes the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes, by picking up a free, stick-on tattoo featuring the horse with the slogan “You Can’t Deny Justify” at the Museum’s front desk as well as in the Museum gift shop and the Churchill Downs gift shop, while supplies last.

Justify caps, T-shirts, pins and other merchandise is also available in the Museum gift shop and during racing at the Churchill Downs gift shop.
