Jump Start, Irish War Cry Lead Northview Stallion Station’s 2019 Roster

Northview Stallion Station has revealed the fees for its 2019 roster, led by veteran sire Jump Start at its Pennsylvania base and newcomer Irish War Cry in Maryland.

Northview’s 12-member stallion roster is divided between the operation’s farms in Chesapeake City, Md., and Peach Bottom, Penn.

Seven of those stallions reside at the Maryland farm, topped this year by Irish War Cry, who stands for an advertised fee of $6,500. The 4-year-old son of Curlin is a multiple Grade 2 winner, and finished second in the 2017 Belmont Stakes.

Returning stallions at the Maryland location are led by Golden Lad (by Medaglia d’Oro), Great Notion (by Elusive Quality), and Madefromlucky (by Lookin at Lucky), each standing for $5,000.

The five stallions of Northview’s Pennsylvania location are headed up by Jump Start (by A.P. Indy) whose fee goes unchanged at $10,000.

Uncle Lino, a son of Uncle Mo who will be entering his third season, also saw no change to his $4,000 fee, giving him the second-highest price of the Pennsylvania roster.
