Gulfstream’s Rainbow 6 Carryover Tops $2 Million For Saturday Card

A 20-cent Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot of $2,146,64530 will only add to the excitement Saturday at Gulfstream Park, where a 12-race live program will be run in conjunction with Florida’s best Belmont Stakes watch party.

The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot went unsolved for the 42nd consecutive racing day Friday, when multiple tickets with six winners were each worth $706.80.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Saturday’s first-race post time is set for 12:35 p.m. First post for Belmont’s 13-race program with eight Grade 1 stakes is scheduled for 11:35 a.m. Silks, Gulfstream’s simulcast facility, will open at 10:30 a.m. Gulfstream will offer a watch party in Ten Palms and souvenir glasses featuring the Belmont Jewel for $12 throughout the property.
