Gulfstream’s Rainbow 6 Carryover Builds To $733,000 For Sunday Card

Gulfstream Park’s popular 20-cent Rainbow 6 continues to grow and will have a carryover of $733,161.17 when racing resumes Sunday with a first race post of1:10 p.m.

Multiple tickets with six winners returned $2,489.98. There was $322,550 of new money bet into the popular multi-race wager Saturday.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Sunday’s Rainbow 6 sequence will begin with the sixth race, a $50,000 maiden claimers for 3-year-olds on a 7 ½-furlong turf course.
