Gulfstream’s Rainbow 6 Carryover Builds To $167,192 For Wednesday

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved at Gulfstream Park Sunday, leaving a $167,192 carryover jackpot for Wednesday’s program.

The popular multi-race wager has gone unsolved for eight consecutive programs since a lucky ticketholder cashed for a $98,309.32 jackpot payoff Dec. 7.

Multiple tickets with six winners Sunday were each worth $2,311.38.

There will also be a Super Hi 5 carryover Wednesday of $5,030.21.

The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket sold, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those betters holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Who’s Hot: Edgard Zayas notched his third straight double-win day, scoring aboard Thoristic ($13.80) in the seventh race and Social Roy ($5.20) in the ninth race.
