Gulfstream Offering $3 Million Guaranteed Rainbow 6 On Fountain Of Youth Card

Gulfstream Park’s Fountain of Youth Day program features the return of a champion, a 20-cent wager that could be worth more than $5 million, and eight graded stakes races worth $1.5 million.

Fountain of Youth Day, highlighted by the 3-year-old debut of Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) winner Good Magic in the $400,000 Fountain of Youth (G2), begins at 8 a.m. with Breakfast at Gulfstream. Doors to Silks open at 10 a.m.

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 will have a guaranteed pool Saturday of $3 million.

A total of $500,136 was wagered into the pool for the popular multi-race wager, which offered a $1,989,049 carryover jackpot heading into Friday’s card. Multiple tickets with six winners Friday returned $691.92.

Saturday’s Rainbow 6 sequence begins with the ninth race. The sequence includes four graded stakes, including the $400,000 Fountain of Youth. There will also be a Late Pick 4 guaranteed pool of $750,000 and a Late Pick 5 guaranteed pool of $500,000.

There will also be a Super Hi 5 carryover in the first race of $4,593.11.

The popular multi-race wager was last hit Jan. 28, when the mandatory payout of a North American record $19.779 million pool produced multiple winning tickets worth $15,566.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Rainbow 6 Carryover Guaranteed Pool: $3 million

Late Pick 4 Guaranteed Pool: $750,000

Late Pick 5 Guaranteed Pool: $500,000
