Grade 1 Winner Big World Headed To Fasig-Tipton November

Grade 1 La Troienne winner Big World is scheduled to be consigned to the Fasig-Tipton sale in Lexington on Nov. 6, reports bloodhorse.com. Owner Maggi Moss plans to consign the 4-year-old daughter of Custom for Carlos with Bluewater Sales.

“Big World has taken me on a great journey and her victory in the La Troienne was a highlight of my career as an owner,” said Moss.

Bred in Louisiana by Louisiana by Curt Leake and Elm Tree Farm, Big World brought $98,000 at the OBS August yearling sale. She was initially trained by Tony Dutrow before transferring to the care of Tom Amoss, earning a G3 win as a juvenile and two stakes wins as a sophomore. Her La Troienne win was her third consecutive victory of 2017. Overall, Big World holds a record of seven wins and five thirds from 13 starts, and earnings of $629,190.
