Finest City Granted Three Pennsylvania-Bred Honors

Finest City scooped up three state-bred honors at the recent Iroquois Awards Banquet held by the Pennsylvania Horse Breeders Association. According to a report by The Blood-Horse, the daughter of City Zip was named champion older female, champion female sprinter, and Horse of the Year for 2016.

The Eclipse Award winner picked up over $800,000 in earnings last year, and won the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint. She was bred by HnR Nothhaft Horseracing, and was a $85,000 yearling purchase at the 2013 Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

Additional state-bred honors went to Lucy n Ethel (champion 3-Year-old Filly), Tom's Ready (3-Year-Old Male and Male Sprinter), and Page McKenney (Older Male).
