Fillies By Into Mischief, Malibu Moon Fastest At OBS Spring Sale’s Under Tack Finale

Fillies by Into Mischief and Malibu Moon breezed quarters in :20 3/5 to share honors as the fastest works at the distance at the seventh and final session of the under tack show for Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2020 Spring Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training.

  • Hip No. 1308, consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc., (Ciaran Dunne), Agent, is a bay filly by Into Mischief out of Humor Me Colonel, by Colonel John, and is a three-quarter sister to Grade 1 winner Practical Joke.
  • Hip No. 1310, a bay filly by Malibu Moon consigned by Eddie Woods, Agent, is out of stakes-placed Iroquois Girl, by Indian Charlie, a half-sister to graded stakes winner Salty Strike.

Four youngsters worked eighths in :9 4/5.

  • Hip No. 1103, a bay filly by Uncle Mo consigned by Off the Hook LLC, Agent, is out of Great Attraction, by El Prado (IRE), a daughter of champion Golden Attraction.
  • Hip No. 1179, a dark bay or brown colt by Honor Code consigned by Kings Equine, Agent, is a half-brother to stakes winner March X Press out of stakes-placed Indian Rush, by Indian Charlie.
  • Hip No. 1306, a gray or roan colt by Speightster consigned by Randy Bradshaw, Agent, is out of stakes-placed Holy Dazzle, by Holy Bull, a daughter of stakes winner Stormy Temper.
  • Hip No. 1311, also consigned by Kings Equine, is a bay colt by California Chrome out of stakes winner Just Got In, by Songandaprayer, from the family of graded stakes winner I Rejoice.

Hip No. 1078, a daughter of Palace consigned by Two Oaks Equine, worked the session’s fastest three-eighths, clocked in :33 1/5. The chestnut filly is out of Ginebra, by Point Determined, from the family of stakes-winning OBS graduate Cascade.

There were three quarters in :20 4/5.

  • Hip No. 1198, consigned by All Dreams Equine, is a dark bay or brown filly by Frosted out of graded stakes-placed Izshelegal, by Maria’s Mon, a half-sister to Grade 1-placed stakes winner Comfort.
  • Hip No. 1205, consigned by Tom McCrocklin, Agent, is a dark bay or brown colt by Bayern out of stakes winner Jera, by Jeblar, and is a half brother to Grade 1-winning OBS graduate Jeranimo.
  • Hip No. 1312, Fortunate Son, a chestnut colt by Speightster also consigned by Tom McCrocklin, Agent, is out of stakes-placed Auspicious, by Indian Charlie, a half sister to graded stakes-placed Flatter Than Me.
  • Hip No. 1314, a bay colt by Flatter also consigned by Tom McCrocklin, is a full-brother to graded stakes-winning OBS graduate Favorable Outcome out of stakes winner Shananies Song, by Eltish.

The Spring Sale begins Tuesday, June 9 at 10 a.m. Hip No.’s 1 – 308 and supplements 1233 – 1252 will be offered.
