‘Blondie’ And Clyde? Two Loose Ponies Corralled During New York Snowstorm

During the snow storm that hit New York early Tuesday morning, a pair of miniature ponies named Blondie and Jewels escaped from their barn in Staten Island, reports the New York Post. The runaways made it nearly a mile from home before they were seen by Robert Stasio on the snowy street outside his house.

“I just looked out the window to see how bad it was coming down still and I see two ponies,” Stasio said. “I thought I was imagining things!”

Stasio jumped in his truck to trail the ponies, eventually assisting police officers in securing the pair and halting their blizzard adventure.
