Aqueduct Calls Off Thursday Live Racing Due To Low Wind Chill

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) has canceled Thursday’s live racing program at Aqueduct Racetrack due to extremely low wind chill values currently impacting the New York City metropolitan area.

The National Weather Service forecasts wind chill values between 5 and 15 degrees throughout the day with temperatures in the mid-20s for Thursday, December 19.

Aqueduct Racetrack will remain open for simulcasting and online wagering is available with NYRA Bets at NYRABets.com.

Live racing is scheduled to resume on Friday, December 20 at Aqueduct with an eight-race card. First post time is 12:30 p.m. Eastern.
