After Cancellation, Mahoning Valley Sets New Mandatory Payouts For Tuesday, Jan. 2

Due to the cancellation of the Saturday, December 30, 2017, Mahoning Valley Race Course race card after race number 6, the mandatory distributions in the Buckeye Pick 6 and Pick 4 pools will now be part of the Tuesday, Jan. 2, card.

The Buckeye Pick 6, starting in race number five, is normally a single ticket jackpot wager with a 20-cent minimum.  As part of the mandatory distribution the pool will be distributed to handicappers with the most winners on Tuesday. The pool will be jump started with a $22,156.25 carryover that has been building since December 5.

The 50-cent Pick 4 wager starting in race seven is seeded with a $12,319.15 carryover from the Wednesday, December 27, race card.

Average field size for both the Pick 6 and Pick 4 wagering races is twelve horses providing plenty of wagering value for racing fans.
