Adena Springs Kentucky, located in Paris, Ky., confirmed their 2018 stud fees this week.

The nine-horse roster is led by 2017 leading sire Ghostzapper.  A homebred and raced son of Adena Kentucky stallion Awesome Again, Ghostzapper has enjoyed considerable success in 2017.  He has sired an impressive 15 blacktype winners, eight Graded stakes winners, and two Grade 1 winners, and his progeny earnings have exceeded  $10.7 million.

In addition, Adena Kentucky freshman sires Point of Entry and Fort Larned were both represented by their first stakes winners, and Fort Larned’s juvenile filly Blonde Bomber also had the distinction of placing in the G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies. Meanwhile, first-crop yearlings by Mucho Macho Man, a millionaire and G1-winning son of Adena Kentucky stallion Macho Uno, were very well received at the sales.
