Prado, who turned 51 in June, had already made a few starts in Saudi Arabia earlier this month after leaving Gulfstream Park in late January.

The Eclipse Award-winning rider and winner of the 2006 Kentucky Derby has been licensed in the United States since 1986. The Peruvian native was the fourth rider in history to win 500 races in one year back in 1997; he now has over 7,200 victories to his credit.
