$346,394 Jackpot Carryover For Tuesday’s Rainbow 6 At Gulfstream Park; Jaramillo Holds Hot Hand

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved Sunday at Gulfstream Park, producing a $346,393.65 carryover jackpot for Tuesday’s program.

The popular multi-race wager has gone unsolved for 13 consecutive programs since a lucky ticketholder cashed for a $98,309.32 jackpot payoff Dec. 7.

Multiple tickets with six winners Sunday were each worth $4,530.12.

The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket sold, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those betters holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Emisael Jaramillo notched his third straight multi-win day on Sunday, scoring three victories, including back-to-back triumphs aboard Flying Rocket ($4.20) in the second and Power Jak ($4.80) in the third and closing out the Christmas Eve Day card with a victorious ride on Lovely Sunset ($11) in the 10th.

Tyler Gaffalione also made back-to-back visits to the winner’s circle aboard Psalmody ($20.40) in the eighth and Go Noni Go ($5.60) in the ninth. Edgard Zayas doubled aboard Crocodile Charlie ($12.60) in the fourth and Violent Times ($13) in the seventh.
