$3,151,249 Payoff At Gulfstream Park In Rainbow 6

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 was solved for a jackpot payoff of $3,151,249.04 at Gulfstream Park Thursday. The popular-multi-race wager had gone unsolved for 52 consecutive racing days.

The winning combination was 4-8-7-3-2-4.

A total of $347,510 was bet into the Rainbow 6 Thursday, when wagering on the six-race sequence started with a carryover of $2,873,391 from Sunday’s program.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that days’ pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

There will be a Super Hi-5 carryover of $4,339.46 heading into Friday’s 2:15 p.m. twilight card.

The Rainbow 6 will start anew on Friday, spanning Races 4-9.

Races 7, 8 and 9 will be included in Friday’s Stronach 5 sequence. Race 8 from Laurel Park will kick off the popular multi-race, multi-track wager, which will also include Race 10 from Laurel.
