$250,000 Single Ticket Pick Six Jackpot Carryover Highlights Santa Anita’s Sunday Card

With the 144th running of the Kentucky Derby in the books, fans can look forward to a sizeable Santa Anita Single Ticket Pick Six Jackpot carryover of $251,026 into Sunday.  With a nine race card on tap, Sunday’s Pick Six will be comprised of races four through nine.

An on-track crowd of 26,121 was on-hand at The Great Race Place for an 11-race card and a bevy of simulcast action on Saturday, that was highlighted by the Kentucky Derby, which was won by Santa Anita Derby winner Justify, who became the 18th horse to use the Santa Anita Derby as a springboard to glory in the Run for the Roses in Louisville.

Approximate post time for Sunday’s fourth race is at 2:09 p.m. PT.  The Grade III, $100,000 Adoration Stakes, for fillies and mares at 1 1/16 miles, has been carded as race seven.  Trainer Phil D’Amato’s Fault has been installed as the 6-5 morning line favorite.

First post time tomorrow is at 12:30 p.m., admission gates open at 10 a.m.  For additional racing information, please visit santaanita.com.
