$236,858 Payout In Santa Anita Single Ticket Pick 6

Although Santa Anita’s Pick 6 got off to a formful beginning on Thursday, not a single post time favorite won thereafter, resulting in just one winning Single Ticket Pick 6 Jackpot ticket, worth $236,857.80.

With a Single Ticket Jackpot carryover of $192,243 left over from Sunday, $68,772 in “new money” was wagered today, creating a total Pick 6 pool of $261,015.

The winning ticket was purchased for just $32 at the Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood.

Thursday’s Pick 6, which began with race three, was taken by 9-5 post time favorite Naughty Tiger, who was ridden by Ruben Fuentes and paid $5.80 to win.

The Pick 6 concluded with race eight, with Foxtail, who was the only “Jackpot” horse in a field of eight maiden fillies and mares.  Ridden by Tyler Baze, she was off at 5-2 and paid $7.80 to win.

Winning numbers in today’s Pick Six were 7-4-2-1-1 & 6.

There were 30 consolation tickets with five winners, each paying $262.40.
