$187,917 Jackpot In Friday’s Rainbow 6 At Gulfstream Park

The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved for the 10th  consecutive program Thursday at Gulfstream Park, producing a carryover jackpot of $187,917.30 for Friday’s twilight card.

Multiple tickets with all six winners were each worth $3,417.81.

The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Friday’s Rainbow 6 sequence will span Races 4-9 and will conclude with the Spring Meet’s first turf race for 2-year-olds in Race 9. A field of 11 juvenile runners trying the turf for the first time will include Jonathan Thomas-trained Entirely, a son of Point of Entry, and Mark Casse-trained My Whippersnapper, a son of Kantharos.

The Rainbow 6 was most recently solved for a $101,000 jackpot payoff May 13, just three days after the popular multi-race wager produced a jackpot payoff of $1.2 million May 10.
