$148,563 Two-Day Pick 6 Carryover At Del Mar On Saturday

The Del Mar Thoroughbred Club enters the penultimate day of the 2017 Bing Crosby Season on Saturday with a big two-day carryover in the pick 6 totaling $148,562.64. In addition, there is a single ticket pick 6 jackpot of $31,834.84 available for anyone who has the only winning ticket on the wager.

With no winning favorites on Friday’s card, five winners in the pick 6 paid a whopping $21,313.40.

The sequence started with Texas Wedge paying $8.40 in the third race, followed by California Street ($9.80), Blended Citizen ($29.40), Desert Law ($21.60), Manitoulin ($10.40) and Super Duper Cooper ($9.60).

The pick 6 carryover to Saturday was assured after Manitoulin under Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith upset Chicago Style in the Grade 2 Hollywood Turf Cup.

Saturday’s pick 6 begins with the fourth race, with an approximate post time of 2 p.m. PST. The six-race sequence includes one maiden race, two allowance events and three graded stakes, including the G1 Hollywood Derby.

In the event of a carryover of the single ticket pick 6 jackpot into Sunday’s closing day card, there will be a mandatory payout of the jackpot pool.
